Murangira lost more than forty family members including his wife and five children at Murambi (Gikongoro). He was there too. And he heard children begging: "Please forgive me! I will never be Tutsi again." After the genocide, he went back to Murambi and worked as a "memory keeper" and a guide at the memorial centre. He passed away in 2011.
